I was a Police Officer for 30 years and a Firefighter for 15 and retired ALIVE !!!! Throughout my entire careers, I had a passion for the vehicles. I began with diecast vehicles and model cars since I did not have the room for the real thing. This allowed me to work with toy manufacturers that allowed me to produce the prototypes of many of the retail cars you could find on hobby shop and toy store shelves over the years.

My first real car project was restoring a 1978 Dodge Monaco to my departments graphics and equipment. It was a blast and I had so much fun working on it. The public also loved it and it was an all around hit. This lead to a passion of restoring these noble cars and preserving their history. My son followed in my footsteps into law enforcement and we have taken on restoring two SSP Mustangs.

We have acquired two 1989 Minnesota State Patrol SSP Mustangs and have researched their history in order to bring them back to the way they were on the street. I am also looking to build a history of the Minnesota SSP Mustangs and would love to hear from anyone who may have information, photos and stories about these cars. I really want to know how many are still out there surviving or how many have met their demise over the years. I want to complete a list of where the 20 SSP Mustang used by the Minnesota State Patrol are now whether they are still drivers or met the crusher.

The b-bodies of Dodge and Plymouth (Satellite, Fury, Coronet, Monaco) are my absolute favorit body shapes for cars from the 70s.
