Please take a few seconds and I just obtained a retired Harley Davidson police motorcycle used by the Texas Highway Patrol in Austin and am looking to restore it to its working condition for motorcycle shows, parades, events, etc.. I have seen and read in other forums that a "Letter of Authorization" from the department head may be needed for this use?
Can anyone verify this or have a sample letter to provide??? Any help is greatly appreciated!
